The Law Firm is guided by its Founder Partner, Mr. Raman Anand, who was admitted as a member of the Bar in July 1970 and possesses more than 50 years of legal experience including 20 years as Head of the Law Department of State Bank of India (SBI) at its Head Offices in Delhi and Chandigarh. During this period he dealt with important legal, regulatory and international matters related to the Bank including mergers, amalgamations, vetting of project financing documents, arbitration, high value agreements as well as dealing with the foreign exchange and commercial matters relating to the Bank. He also had the privilege of attending national and international seminars on project finance, international arbitration and recovery of bad debts in India & abroad. While working in the Legal Division of the SBI he worked in tandem with various Ministries of Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India in connection with framing of new rules & regulations relating to the Banking Industry.
